My first Graham Paige. The hulk of a once fine car.

Some cool old cars there...some of them don’t seem TOO far gone yet...
That little Morris Oxford is a pretty cool little thing and doesn’t look that bad in the two pictures you posted! :)

Those little old British cars kind of pepper the l andscape out here. And quite a few seem to stay in “as parked there” condition.

We don’t have many of them in Canada, especially original Canadian-spec ones, so it would be neat to see more on the road...shame!

So many of your junkyard cars always look to be worth saving...

The snapped in two Vauxhall badge seems strangely appropriate in these modern days.
Everytime I see a cool little 60s British car in as parked condition like that I think ‘what a waste, maybe I should try and save it ’ but then I realise what that will do to my sanity...

I would, but there is a code of honour when visiting these treasure fields. I actually mentioned to the owner that I don’t pocket emblems, It’s not a yard that people less charming than myself are allowed to wander in. That said emblems are free at the self-serve wreckers and I have a 5-gallon pail of them.

What’s sad is sometimes I travel these roads again years later and the cars have all vanished. These yards are getting harder to find every year.
